I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hostal Posada Huecar during my visit to Cuenca, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Despite being an older building, it exudes unique character, and my spacious room was exceptionally comfortable, equipped with effective air conditioning that made my stay pleasant even in warmer temperatures. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the en suite bathroom, which had been updated and stocked with generous free toiletries—an appreciated touch for travelers. The location is superb, just a short walk uphill to the picturesque Plaza Mayor and surrounded by a variety of delightful eateries like Restaurante El Fuero and Taberna Botes. The staff was incredibly accommodating, guiding me with walking routes and ensuring I felt at home throughout my stay. At €60 for the night, this hotel offers remarkable value, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a charming stay in Cuenca.
